    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what personal data is collected when you visit this website or get in touch, why it's collected, and the rights you have over it. We keep it to the minimum we need.

    Who we are

This website is run by InternoTrips, who is responsible for (the "controller" of) your personal data. For anything related to privacy, write to .

    What we collect and why

We only collect data in these situations:

    • When you email us: your email address, name and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply and, if you book, to organise your trip. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
    • Website statistics, only if you accept cookies: we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, roughly from where (country or city), on which kind of device and browser, and how visitors found us. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
    • Hosting: the provider that hosts this website automatically processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

    Cookies and local storage

We store a few small pieces of information in your browser:

    • "language" cookie (essential, 1 year): remembers whether you prefer English or Spanish.
    • "cookie-consent" (local storage, 12 months): remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again on every visit.
    • "theme" (local storage): remembers light or dark mode, if you change it.
    • Content cache (local storage): keeps a copy of page content so the site loads faster.
    • Google Analytics cookies "_ga" and "_ga_<ID>" (up to 2 years): distinguish visits and visitors. These are only set if you click "Accept".

The essential items don't need consent because the site needs them to work as you'd expect. You can change your analytics choice at any time:

    Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only share it with the providers that help us run the website:

    • Google (Google Analytics), only if you consented.
    • Our website hosting provider.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. When that happens, the transfer is protected by the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

    How long we keep it

Emails are kept for as long as needed to answer you and, if you travel with us, for as long as the law requires us to keep booking records. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

    Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before. To exercise any of these rights, write to .

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Portugal that is the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt); in Spain, the AEPD (www.aepd.es); elsewhere, the authority in your country.

    Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
